Common questions
RunePlanner is a route planning tool and progress tracker for Oldschool RuneScape. Members create step by step guides which can cover quests, skill milestones and much more. Members of the community can subscribe (for free) to these created guides and track their progress as they go.
RunePlanner is free to use. Simply sign in via Google or Discord and start creating and following routes.
Profiles are just a simple identifier of which profile is following a specific route, this is in place just in-case you have multiple accounts following the same route. While we ask for RSN as a profile name, you can use anything you want it doesn't need to be an RSN. There is no linking between OSRS and RunePlanner.
Subscription to a route will link it to one of your created profiles. From there you get a dedicated progress tracker where you can check off steps one by one. You can subscribe to the same route multiple times by creating and using a different profile.
Absolutely, we understand that not all routes are for everybody and some are tailored just for you. When publishing a route you are prompted to select either public or private, if you ever change your mind you can easily make it public later.
Yes, you can update one of your published routes afterwards. However, a new version of that route will be created to it doesn't affect existing subscribers, and you can publish that when its ready under a new version.
